This album to me is great and sad at the same time. As far as the bass and beats go it is one of the greatest that the "Miami Bass" genre has to offer. Also, MC Madness is at the top of his game here. The sad thing is that it also represents the end of an era... By this time when you went to a record store the "Miami Bass" section was flooded with these Car Audio BASS CDs that had no lyrics and whose only purpose was to make your Speakers Boom!! Don't get me wrong I bought those CDS too... they made my four 12s hit endlessly! I just feel that those type of CDs are what killed off Miami Bass. Also, I always felt that if this album would have had a better cover it would have sold better. Another thing sad about this time was all of a sudden every Rapper in the south was a gangster that had beef with other rappers. A far cry from the good ole days. I still enjoy listening to this CD. As far as Im' concerned "Madness is on the Mike" still! I always wondered why he never came out with another album after this one?
